The Scottish Catholic Youth Service (SCY) is an organisation of the Bishops in Scotland for you, the young people of Scotland. There is a representative from each diocese on this team who meet regularly to discuss how we can better serve you through engaging and inspiring faith events around the country, beginning in our own dioceses.
The key aims of the SCY group are as follows:
- Bringing about a deeper knowledge and love of Christ
- Connecting with the Holy See
- Facilitating events such as World Youth Day and the National Youth Pilgrimage
- Supporting collaboration and drawing together youth ministers
- Providing formation, training and safeguarding support
SCY has a national website which is updated regularly with events and news from youth services across the country, so that no matter where you are you can always find something going on!
